Hours:

1st Shift, 9:00am – 5:30pm.

• Recruit, lead, coach and retain a high performing operations team (~15-18 direct reports). Set the tone for the area to maintain an effective and engaged manufacturing group.
• Effectively manage the day-to-day operations, ensuring all processes run safely, smoothly, and efficiently. Investigate process excursions/deviations and production issues utilizing six sigma tools to identify and implement corrective actions to eliminate the root cause of the problem.
• Design reporting standards for operational metrics and process KPIs to drive operational efficiencies and employee experiences.
• Work cross-functionally with multiple teams to ensure the area delivers the highest quality of viral antigens and provide the team with the tools, resources and support needed to achieve their goals.
• Assist with technical projects within area of responsibility. Take the manufacturing lead role in the coordination, document preparation, and introduction of new production processes as well as site to site transfers. Maintain state-of-the-art competence on technological developments within area of responsibility and recommend equipment and/or process enhancements that will provide improved efficiency, safety, and a competitive advantage.

• BS in Biological sciences or related field.
• Relevant experience in biological manufacturing and/or aseptic manufacturing.

Exposure to chemicals, fumes, odors, noise, live steam, temperature fluctuations, and biohazards. Prolonged sitting, continuous standing and lifting to a maximum of 50 lbs.
