What you’ll handle

Set up and operate manual Vertical Turning Lathes (VTLs)
Machine and repair parts to exacting tolerances

Interpret blueprints, machining drawings, and work orders

Use precision measurement and hand metrology tools for inspections

Support valve and mechanical equipment repair/refurbishment

Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust as needed

Keep the work area orderly and safe Coordinate with shop personnel to meet production schedules and project timelines

What it takes

Solid experience running manual VTLs or similar manual turning equipment

Ability to read and apply blueprints/machining drawings

Track record of precision work with tight tolerances

Mechanical aptitude and an eye for detail

Comfort working independently with minimal supervision

Consistent reliability and strong work ethic

High School Diploma or GED required
