Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair a wide range of manufacturing equipment and facility systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to quickly identify root causes and implement effective repairs.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on production equipment to minimize unplanned downtime and extend equipment life.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a shop-wide preventive maintenance schedule to ensure consistent and timely upkeep of all equipment.
- Support production teams by responding promptly to equipment concerns and restoring equipment to service with minimal disruption.
- Assist with the installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment and contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and quality.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and equipment manuals to guide troubleshooting and repair activities.
- Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout practices, and maintenance best practices to promote a safe working environment.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage accurately to support continuous improvement and equipment reliability.
- Work overtime as needed to address machinery breakdowns, urgent repairs, and critical maintenance tasks.
Essential Skills
- At least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician performing equipment repair and preventive maintenance.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities, including diagnosing and repairing mechanical components and systems.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting abilities, including working with motors, sensors, and control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and equipment documentation.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment with production equipment and facility systems.
- Dependable work ethic with a safety-focused mindset and commitment to following established procedures.
- Team-oriented attitude with the ability to collaborate effectively with production and maintenance colleagues.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus and will be considered a strong asset.
- Experience assisting with equipment installations and process improvements in a manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance scheduling and planning tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently when diagnosing and resolving equipment issues.
- Willingness to work overtime when required to address machinery breakdowns and critical repairs.

Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing facility with a regular schedule of 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, with overtime required at times to address machinery breakdowns and repairs. You will work around production equipment, facility systems, and maintenance tools in a hands-on, shop-floor environment that emphasizes safety and adherence to established procedures.

This is a Contract position based out of Broken Arrow, OK.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
