What You’ll Be DoingThe Outreach Project Manager will play a crucial role in expanding our reach and impact within the Tulsa community and abroad. As Assistant Director of Outreach, you will collaborate with the Director of Outreach to develop and implement strategic initiatives that foster engagement and build strong relationships with our local partners and develop new opportunities to love all of God's people in all seasons of life.
Every day looks different, but here’s a snapshot of what you’ll be up to:
- Assist with the communication and maintaining of healthy relationships with our local partners to serve the Tulsa community.
- Assist the Director of Outreach in the planning and execution of internal mission trips. Up to 30% travel required.
- Assist in the processing of benevolence applications and requests.
- Manage all aspects of the Care Portal outreach to meet the needs of the Tulsa community.
- Communicate with, train, and equip our Care Portal teams (response teams, volunteers, campus leaders).
- Assist our Connections Ministers at their campuses, posting a need on Care Portal, partnering for events, and helping identify local outreach partners.
- Perform other church duties as assigned by Director of Outreach to help all people of all ages all the time advance in their journey with Christ.
- Bachelor’s Degree (not required). Experience working in the non-profit sector, specifically in missions and outreach is a plus.
- Aligns with the vision and mission of Battle Creek Church.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
- Strong computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
- Enjoys building relationships and have a high level of customer service.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Takes ownership of their own development.
- Communicates and listens well.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Has ability to travel both domestically and internationally (up to 30% travel).
- Has ability to navigate working with teams from various countries and cultures.

Depending on the role, you might find yourself in an office, on stage, out in the community, or working behind the scenes. Evening and weekend hours may be required—it’s all part of ministry life!
This role is primarily office-based but may involve some physical activity, including standing, lifting (up to 20 pounds), kneeling, setting up equipment, or prepping for events—sometimes even late ’t worry; we’ll ensure you know what to expect!
