• Provide routine care, observe residents’ health, assist doctors, and communicate instructions to residents regarding medication, home-based care, and preventative lifestyle changes as an LPN.
• Help implement and evaluate care plans for individual care of each resident.
• Maintain appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices as an LPN.
• Receive, transcribe, and implement physician’s orders in a timely manner.
• Report required condition changes and events to appropriate parties.
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor infection control compliance.
• Investigate and document accidents/incidents.
• Record a resident’s medical history accurately.
• Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.
• Observe residents under treatment to identify progress and side effects of medications.
• Monitor residents’ condition including fluid intake and output and maintain residents' charts.
• Assist ailing residents in daily activities such as eating and bathing.
• Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas, etc., clean and dress wounds, and assist with other basic medical care tasks.
• Collect samples for lab testing as assigned.
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.
• Communicate with residents’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions.

• Proven experience as an LPN or similar role.
• Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
• Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry.
• Strong physical condition and stamina.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and able to handle stress.
• Successful completion of LPN license program is required.
