Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

Licensed Practical Nurse positions are available at the Oklahoma County Crisis Intervention Center (OCCIC). The OCCIC provides trauma‑sensitive, co‑occurring, person‑centered and recovery‑oriented care to high‑risk individuals in the metro area. Nurses will work within multidisciplinary teams to deliver direct or indirect professional nursing services for crisis care.

• Conduct nursing assessments, develop and implement care plans, and provide interventions.
• Evaluate patient progress, document results, and provide health‑related education.
• Perform case management and execute the medical regime, including medication administration and treatment as prescribed by authorized state‑law prescribers.
• Participate in crisis response during 24/7 coverage.

Full‑time position with an annual salary of $50,500.00 – $60,000.00 plus holiday, shift differential, and benefits.

Four 10‑hour shifts, days vary. Current recruitment for evening (2:00 PM – 12:00 AM) and night (9:00 PM – 7:00 AM) shifts. Work may include weekends and overtime.

• LPN III
  :
  Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a Licensed Practical Nurse, approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing, and at least two years of practical nursing experience; or a license recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) plus two years of practical nursing experience.
• LPN II
  :
  Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a Licensed Practical Nurse, approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing, and at least one year of practical nursing experience; or a license recognized by eNLC plus one year of practical nursing experience.
• LPN I:
  Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a Licensed Practical Nurse, approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing; or a license recognized by eNLC.

Upon conditional offer, applicants must submit to a physical examination. Candidates must be able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.
