Part Time Racquet Sports Front Desk Attendant at The Club at Forest Ridge

Offers superior customer service while selling merchandise and assisting management with merchandising, inventory control, reservations, and special events preparation.

• Performs opening and closing procedures for the shop or store as determined by management.
• Responsible for accountability of POS transactions.
• Collects applicable fees from members/guests and outside patrons upon arrival.
• Makes court, clinic, lesson and special event reservations, in person or by phone.
• Assists guests by selling merchandise and providing information in a professional manner.
• Assists with rotating stock and keeps displays clean and orderly.
• Assists with general cleaning of the shop or store.
• Assists shop supervisor with creating appealing displays.
• Assists with monthly physical inventories.
• May work with coaches to facilitate orderly start and play times.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required or needed.

• High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Frequently stands, uses hands, reaches with hands and arms, and talks or hears.
• Regularly walks, sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches.
• Regularly lifts up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.

• Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions.
• Noise level is moderate.

• Ability to read and speak English.
• Active tennis player with knowledge of the game.
• Retail sales experience is preferred.
• Computer proficiency including POS, Microsoft Office, social media, and tennis-related programs such as  or Club Automation.
