District Sales Associate - Midwest District

The Midwest District Sales Associate (DSA) is responsible for driving growth within the Midwest district by identifying, developing, and supporting retrofit ventilation opportunities within existing industrial facilities. This role is fully focused on solving real-world ventilation challenges for plant stakeholders and delivering practical, results-driven solutions from concept through completion. This role reports to the Midwest District Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities Retrofit Opportunity Development- Call on industrial facilities to identify ventilation issues and improvement opportunities
- Develop conceptual solutions to address airflow, heat, and environmental challenges
- Build relationships with Plant, Engineering, and Maintenance Managers and other plant stakeholders
- Generate and develop a consistent pipeline of retrofit opportunities
- Support opportunities from initial site visit through proposal and installation
- Partner with Project Engineering to develop solutions and proposals
- Coordinate with internal teams and customers to move projects forward
- Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and activity in Net Suite
- Establish long-term relationships with end users to drive repeat business and build Moffitt customer advocates within the district
- Conduct post-installation site visits to ensure successful outcomes
- Identify additional opportunities within existing accounts
- Support Midwest District Manager in executing district strategy
- Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment and execution
- Provide field insights to support continuous improvement in solutions and approach
Job Requirements Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
- Two years of experience in HVAC or industrial market sales experience preferred
- Strong understanding of sales and prospecting, working towards KPIs and sales goals/targets
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills with a professional presence
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to propose mutually beneficial solutions
- Self-motivated, dependable, and results-driven with a positive attitude
- Travel will be required – 50% would be expected
