Maintenance Technician
RISE Armament manufactures precision firearm parts and triggers right here in the USA. Keeping that commitment to quality takes dependable equipment and a skilled technician who takes pride in keeping it running.
We're looking for a Maintenance Technician to take ownership of preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, and facility upkeep. Your primary focus will be our CNC machines, with responsibility for supporting production equipment and general facility maintenance.
You'll manage the preventative maintenance schedule, identify issues before they interrupt production, and keep accurate maintenance records. When equipment goes down, you'll troubleshoot the problem, make repairs, and coordinate specialized support when needed.
What You'll Do
Own the preventative maintenance schedule. Complete scheduled maintenance for CNC machines and other production equipment, keeping maintenance records accurate and up to date.
Keep CNC equipment running reliably. Perform preventative maintenance on our CNC machines, primarily Makino and Haas, checking for wear, leaks, unusual noises, vibration, and other early signs of trouble.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, working with equipment manufacturers or outside technicians when specialized expertise is needed.
Maintain supporting production equipment. Service and repair equipment such as laser machines and tool setters.
Care for the facility. Handle general maintenance and repairs involving plumbing, lighting, fixtures, and electrical systems within your qualifications, and coordinate contractors for specialized work.
Work safely. Follow required safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
What You Bring
Hands-on experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machining equipment.
Working knowledge of industrial mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read equipment manuals, schematics, and technical documentation to diagnose problems.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage maintenance schedules, changing priorities, and follow-through independently.
A practical approach to problem-solving and a commitment to safe, reliable repairs.
Nice to Have
Experience with Makino or Haas CNC equipment.
Experience troubleshooting CNC controls, servos, spindles, tool changers, and coolant systems.
Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or other electronic maintenance tracking tools.
Technical training or certification in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field.
Compensation
