We're looking for a skilled Diagnostic Technician to join our growing independent Volkswagen Group (VAG) specialist workshop. The Role

As our Diagnostic Technician
, you'll play a key role within the workshop, diagnosing complex faults and carrying out repairs to the highest standard.

Your work will include:

  • Advanced vehicle diagnostics and fault finding
  • Electrical and mechanical diagnosis and repair
  • Engine management and drivability diagnostics
  • Servicing and maintenance
  • Repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards
  • Using OEM diagnostic equipment and technical information
  • Supporting other technicians with technical issues
  • Carrying out quality control checks
  • Delivering first-time fixes through accurate diagnosis

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys solving technical problems.

Ideally you’ll have:

  • Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician
    , Vehicle Technician
    , Master Technician or Senior Technician
  • Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Experience working on Volkswagen, Audi, BMW or Škoda vehicles
  • Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic knowledge
  • Experience using dealer-level diagnostic equipment (preferred)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • A positive attitude and strong team ethic
