Security and Fire Systems Service Engineer Full-time, Monday to Friday – 08.00

· Door Automation Responsibilities:
Corrective maintenance works - to include fault finding, troubleshooting and a first-time fix whenever possible Remedial and small works Preventative maintenance Client on site liaison Working with monitored systems in liaison with our Alarm Receiving Centre Act as a Fidelity ambassador when out in the field Completion of all required site and electronic paperwork promptly and with attention to detail Demonstrate good industry knowledge of all required disciplines.

Participate in regular ongoing internal and external technical, regulatory, and health and safety training Mentorship and guidance for junior engineers and apprentices Participate in out-of-hours On Call Rota Key

Skills:

Demonstrate good industry knowledge of all disciplines of integrated Security and Life Safety Systems. Technically strong on electrical principles Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills Sound knowledge of relevant regulations and standards Personal Attributes:
· Good communication skills with both customers and colleagues
· Multi-disciplined Service Engineer
· Team orientated
· Strong time-management skills
· Confident user of Microsoft Office and working with networked/IP-based systems
· Proactive
· Able to run works autonomously
· The ability to supervise and motivate other engineers
· Self-motivated and willing to use initiative

Salary and Benefits : · £32,000 - £40,500, depending on skills and experience

· Out of hours On Call is required roughly one week in six.£385/week standby payment, plus callouts at:£90 for travel to and first hour on site, your standard overtime rate for subsequent hours
