Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer looking for new opportunities? We are recruiting for a skilled Mobile Mechanical Engineer to maintain, fault-find, and service plant rooms and mechanical infrastructure across a range of commercial contracts in and around South London and Kent.

The Role

In this position, you will be the go-to technical expert managing mechanical and water systems within retail environments. Your day-to-day duties will include:

Plant Room Maintenance:
Servicing pumps, valves, booster sets, and associated pipework.
Hot & Cold Systems:
Managing commercial hot and cold-water systems, including calorifiers, water treatment, and basic L8 compliance.
Basic HVAC Duties:
Conducting first-line maintenance on AHUs, FCUs, and basic ventilation systems.
Retail Environment Upkeep:
Ensuring high-footfall retail sites remain fully operational with minimal disruption to trading.

What we're looking for:

Strong background as a Mechanical Engineer or Commercial Plumber.
Proven experience working within plant rooms and commercial hot/cold water systems.
Comfortable handling basic HVAC tasks (filters, belts, basic faults).
Experience working in retail or fast-paced commercial environments is highly desirable.
