Position: Solar PV Electrician (Permanent)
Solar PV Technician/service engineer.

- All projects within 1hr radius of the Midlands.

Job Summary

My client is seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join their Midlands-based team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing solar, battery storage systems and components in residential, commercial, or industrial environments. You must be able to diagnose problems accurately and ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with current standards and wiring regulations.

Job Description

* Ability to wire solar, battery storage systems and EV charge points

* Working on commercial and domestic systems

* Commissioning solar, battery and EV charging systems

* Trouble shooting and fault diagnosis

* Operating drone camera

* Liaising with manufacturer's technical departments for troubleshooting

* Using in-house job management software Tradify

* Servicing solar/battery systems

Qualifications

* Electrically qualified to minimum level 3

* CSCS/ECS card

* 18th Edition wiring regulations

* QS for NICEIC

* 2391 Inspection & Testing of electrical installations or equivalent

* Installing and maintaining solar PV systems

* installing and maintaining battery storage systems

* Electric vehicle charging qualification

* Manual handling

Requirements

* Ability to work independently or part of a team

* In-depth knowledge of electrical solar systems and safety procedures

* Good communication skills

* Attention to detail

* Clean driving licence

* Good timekeeping
