Job Responsibilities
- * Maintain, repair, and diagnose a diverse range of electrical and mechanical forklift trucks
* Operate forklifts for maintenance, testing, and manoeuvring purposes
* Interpret onboard diagnostics and truck communication systems
* Configure forklift parameters to meet customer-specific requirements
* Safely work on electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
* Travel to customer sites and adapt to a variety of working environments
* Respond efficiently to customer requirements, minimising production downtime
* Order parts and process manufacturer warranty claims in line with company procedures
Candidate Requirements
- * A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar forklift engineering role
* Strong knowledge and experience repairing:
* Hand pallet trucks
* Electric power pallet trucks
* Electric reach trucks
* Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) and man-up / man-down warehouse trucks
* Counterbalance forklifts (electric, LPG, and diesel)
* Multi-skilled engineering knowledge with safe working practices and environmental awareness
* Experience using correct lifting and blocking equipment
* A customer-focused approach with good communication skills
What’s On Offer
- * Salary: £38,000 per annum plus overtime
* Company van provided
* Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (door-to-door)
* 22 days annual leave, increasing annually up to 25 days, plus Bank Holidays
