Accounts Payable Specialist
Compensation: $25.00-$30.00/hour

Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Specialist:

• Process high-volume vendor invoices and employee reimbursements

• Review invoices for proper coding, authorization, and compliance

• Prepare and process payments (check, ACH, etc.)

• Maintain vendor records, documentation, and W-9s

• Assist with AP reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close

• Support audits and 1099 preparation
Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist:

• 2-4 years of accounts payable experience

• Experience in nonprofit or grant-funded environments (preferred)

• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems

• Knowledge of expense coding, cost allocation, and compliance

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
