Project Assistant
Location: Bronx, NY
Pay Rate: $28-$32/hr (Depending on Experience)
Job Type: Contract
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 35 Hours Per Week
Job Summary
The Project Assistant provides administrative and project support to ensure the efficient operation of departmental initiatives and special projects. This role assists with project coordination, reporting, data management, presentations, and administrative functions while supporting project managers and departmental leadership. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, experience with data analysis and reporting, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience.
- Strong administrative and project coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of public health, health policy, healthcare administration, or community health.
- Supervisory experience.
- Experience with reporting, presentations, and data analysis.
- Experience working in healthcare or public sector environments.
- Support Project Managers with special projects and departmental initiatives.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and project documentation.
- Maintain records, databases, and administrative files.
- Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting activities.
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, and project-related communications.
- Monitor project timelines and assist with task tracking.
- Provide general office and administrative support.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of assigned projects and reports.
- Collaborate with departmental staff and stakeholders.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
