Location: The Bronx

DOB Construction Superintendent - Bronx, NY will be responsible for the oversight and completion of ground up commercial projects in the New York City Metro area. Client Details Our client is currently a leading Construction General Contractor in the New York City Building and Construction industry. They have been an established for for 30+ years focusing commercial new builds. The client has a fast paced work environment with a very strong work cultural allowing for flexibility and competitive pay.

The first Project will be a Ground up, core and shell Industrial Building in Bronx, NY Description DOB Construction Superintendent - Bronx, NY Adhere and carry a NYC DOB Superintendent licence Implement and maintain effective management, planning, and cost control systems in cooperation with the project team Assist with pre-construction activities relevant to assigned Commercial or retail construction project Will report directly to Senior Construction Manager and assist with all duties Establish and maintain communications between Client and Subcontractors to ensure accurate and timely flow of information Prepare or assist pre-construction manager with the project budget Work with estimating department to prepare buy-out plan Coordinate with Sub contractors Review and approve Commercial construction operation plans, change order request and pay apps.

Provide monthly forecasting for all projects, including internal general conditions costs Review contingency plans for potential problems concerning labor activity, fire, storms, etc. Track and report on all project costs Identify and evaluate risk that may have an impact on the project Remain knowledgeable of subcontract agreements, purchase order terms and conditions, and sub consultant agreements Develop and issue monthly status reports to keep management informed on construction progress, direct and indirect construction costs, and other project activities Profile DOB Construction Superintendent - Bronx, NY 10+ years of working on new commercial construction projects in NYC Building and Construction industry MUST HAVE NYC DOB SUPERINTENDENT LICENCE Extensive experience with Core and Shell new build in the New York City Market Experience handling projects Local to Bronx, NY, Westchester and other areas Must have experience building in New York City Job Offer Strong Base Salary ($150k-$200k+) Bonus Potential (10% +) Health care (Employer paid) 401K PTO (3 weeks) Company Truck, Travel paid for Local or Commutable to Queens, NY
