A mission driven safety net provider is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join their outpatient behavioral health team.This role offers a strong work life balance, a hybrid schedule (3 remote days weekly), no call, and the opportunity to care for children and adolescents within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. This position is open due to a retirement and will assume an established panel.

Job Function:
Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children and adolescents (60-minute new patient evaluations).
Conduct 15-minute follow-up medication management appointments.
Manage and treat an inherited panel of approximately 400 pediatric patients (not all on medication).
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications as clinically appropriate.
Collaborate closely with LCSWs, therapists, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
Participate in hybrid schedule: 3 remote days and 2 on-site clinic days (9:00am-5:00pm; optional evening hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 7:00pm).
Manage an average patient volume of approximately 20 patients per day, depending on no-shows.
Supervise and provide clinical guidance to Psychiatry and Pediatric Residents (optional/additional opportunity).
Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans.
- MD or DO from an accredited institution.
- Active NYS medical license (or ability to obtain).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Experience in community psychiatry and/or urban outpatient settings.
- Spanish/English bilingual ability highly desirable.
