An established Academic Hospital is currently seeking a Nephrologist to join their growing team at their Bronx site! About the Opportunity:
Setting:
Hospital, mix of OP and IP clinical responsibilities,

Schedule:

Monday to Friday

Hours:

9am to 5pm Call: shared Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat kidney diseases, including chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, and end-stage renal disease. Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests. Manage patients on dialysis. Conduct office visits for follow-up care, medication management, and patient education. Perform hospital rounding and admissions for nephrology patients. Round at dialysis centers to monitor treatment progress and address patient concerns.

Qualifications:

Medical degree (MD or DO) and completion of nephrology fellowship. Board certification or eligibility in nephrology. NY State medical license. Strong clinical skills and excellent bedside manner.
