Cultivating Pediatric Anesthesiologist role with Bronx Care Health System. Bronx Care serves city residents as the largest not-for-profit health and teaching hospital system covering the South and Central Bronx, providing close to 1 million outpatient visits and 140,000 ER visits annually. The system features a medical school affiliation with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and operates in a collaborative care-team model.
Practice Info
- Collaborative care-team model
- Case assignments include peds, endo, general, ENT, neuro, vascular, GYN, and plastics
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
- Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
- Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
- Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
Compensation
- Salary: $600K
- Pedi fellowship stipend: $50K annually
- Sign-on Incentive:
Up to $100K package

Requirements
- M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
- Fellowship Trained in Pediatric Anesthesiology
- ECFMG and FLEX
- Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
- Currently licensed as a physician
