Middle School ELL Teacher–Coordinator

We are currently seeking a Middle School ELL Teacher–Coordinator to support our middle school campus. Primary Duties:

• Teach a daily ESOL class for beginning ELL students
• Push into and/or co-teach mainstream classes with high concentrations of beginning ELLs (typically ELA)
• Oversee and manage all ELL caseloads
• Coordinate and oversee non-instructional components of the ELL program (e.g., NYSESLAT, NYSITELL)
• Support general education teachers with questions, strategies, and resources related to ELL instruction

The ideal candidate has experience teaching English Language Learners and/or formal training in ELL instruction and is bilingual in Spanish. Experience administering or coordinating the NYSITELL and/or NYSESLAT is a plus.

• Bachelors only- 68k-85k
• Masters only-76k-93k
