Lower School Stem Integrator
The lower school STEM integrator will be part of a team of educators whose role is to work closely with faculty to develop interdisciplinary learning experiences for students. The individual in this role is expected to have experience related to educational technology and preferably experience teaching math, science, and/or engineering skills and concepts. Because of the age range of students across our lower school, it is essential for the person in this role to have a keen understanding of developmentally appropriate practice.
Some of the key responsibilities associated with this role include curriculum development and alignment, collaborative work with faculty, and direct instruction of students, often in a co-teaching format. Faculty members are expected to engage in all aspects of work with an open mind, a positive disposition, and a willingness to support the greater community.
A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required for the position. Preference is given to those who have experience working with younger learners and have completed coursework in a related field of study.
