Explorer Program Assistant

Boys & Girls Clubs of America seeks an Explorer Program Assistant to support engaging, youth-centered activities that promote academic success, healthy lifestyles, and character development. In this on-site role at a local Club, you'll help facilitate daily program sessions, supervise and motivate youth, and maintain a safe, inclusive environment. Responsibilities include assisting with tutoring, enrichment projects, field trips, and events; tracking attendance;

preparing materials and spaces; and modeling BGCA values while collaborating closely with Club staff and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of Explorer Program activities for youth in Club settings
• Assist with academic support, enrichment, and leadership development sessions
• Supervise and engage youth to ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive environment
• Help implement program schedules, attendance tracking, and basic reporting
• Coordinate materials, room setup, and cleanup for daily programs and events
• Communicate with staff, volunteers, and families as directed by Program leadership
• Model positive behavior and reinforce BGCA values and program expectations
• Assist with field trips, special events, and community service projects
