Teen Group Leader

The Teen Group Leader at Boys & Girls Clubs of America supports the Club mission by leading safe, structured programs for teens ages 13-18 during critical after-school and summer hours. This role plans and facilitates activities that promote academic success, healthy lifestyles, and character and leadership development, including homework help, enrichment projects, and service opportunities. The Teen Group Leader builds positive relationships with youth, maintains a safe and inclusive environment, manages behavior, supports special events and field trips, and completes basic documentation and attendance records.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, engaging group programs for teens during after-school and summer hours
• Facilitate activities that support academic success, healthy lifestyles, and leadership
• Build positive, supportive relationships with club members ages 13-18
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment and enforce club rules and expectations
• Assist with homework help, tutoring, and enrichment projects
• Model positive behavior, conflict resolution, and good citizenship
• Communicate with supervisors and staff about member progress and concerns
• Support special events, field trips, and community service projects
• Complete required documentation, attendance, and incident reports
• Help set up, organize, and clean program spaces and supplies
