Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant

  • Deliver accurate account reconciliations and bank statement analyses to support monthly close and maintain audit readiness
  • Analyze, prepare accruals, and support expense tracking across AP/GL—ensuring alignment with department budgets and actuals
  • Collaborate in payroll entries, support departmental reporting, and contribute to year-end financial preparation
  • Drive automation and data management using advanced Excel (pivot tables, financial analysis) and hospital ERP systems (Medi Tech)
  • Facilitate audit workflows: gather supporting documentation, manage audit requests, and ensure regulatory compliance with minimal supervision

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance with demonstrated accounting fundamentals (budgeting, reconciliation, AP/GL)
  • Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables) and experience with large financial data sets
  • Professional drive, self-motivation, and ability to adapt in a visible, high-accountability environment
  • CPA track a plus!

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm, fully on-site

Compensation

  • $20-25/hr
