Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Bronx, New York.

This role offers the opportunity to lead financial operations, reporting directly to the organization's owners while collaborating with an external accounting firm. The position is fully on-site, making it ideal for candidates based locally who seek a dynamic and hands-on role.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage all financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, and reporting functions.

- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial records while maintaining compliance with established accounting standards.

- Design and implement robust internal controls to protect company assets and improve operational efficiency.

- Supervise daily accounting activities, such as payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

- Conduct financial performance analyses and provide actionable insights to guide strategic decisions.

- Collaborate with various departments to enhance workflows and streamline financial processes.

- Prepare comprehensive financial statements and reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

- Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and industry practices to ensure compliance and maintain a competitive edge. Requirements

- Accounting/Finance Degree

- Experienced Corporate Controller, 10-15+ years of experience

- Produce industry experience preferred
