Grant Accountant

Salary:$40-$44/hour

Key Responsibilities for the Grant Accountant:

Manage grant budgeting- preparing the funder templates, budget modifications
Spending Analysis- budget to actuals for each grant on a monthly basis
Prepare and submit grant-related financial reports and invoices
Monitor budgets, expenditures, and compliance requirements
Reconcile grant accounts and support audits
Partner with program staff to ensure accurate cost allocation

Qualifications for the Grant Accountant:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• Experience with grant or nonprofit accounting

• Knowledge of government grant compliance and reporting

• Strong reconciliation and financial reporting skills

• Proficiency with accounting systems and Excel
