Position Overview:
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Internist/Medical Director for nursing home services in a multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, NY. Qualifications:
- Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Licensure: Active New York State Medical License (Required).
- Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience required, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in geriatric medicine, nursing home regulations, quality improvement, and clinical leadership.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication, strategic thinking, team-building skills, and commitment to patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight for nursing home services.
- Manage and supervise clinical staff within the nursing home settings.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality metrics.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and case conferences.
- Provide direct patient care as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Mentor and support clinical staff in professional development.
