Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Coordinator to manage the initiation and activation of all new clinical trial protocols. The role involves collaborating with research staff to develop study tools and ensuring compliance with protocol eligibility and informed consent requirements.

Responsibilities

* Coordinate the initiation and activation of all new clinical trial protocols.

* Prepare study tools such as study binders, medication diaries, eligibility checklists, and flow sheets.

* Develop study tools using Oncore, Excel, and Word.

* Review patients' charts and medical history to confirm protocol eligibility and obtain necessary source documents.

* Ensure IRB-approved informed consent forms are obtained, signed, and appropriately filed.

* Maintain research records for all enrolled patients, including patient consent and eligibility documents.

* Assist in grading adverse events using NCI common toxicity criteria or protocol-specific grading scales.

* Complete Serious/Unexpected Adverse Event forms as required by study sponsors and guidelines.

* Provide regular reports to the tumor study group members and Principal Investigator.

* Serve as a liaison with study sponsors, scheduling monitoring visits and conference calls.

* Respond accurately and timely to sponsors' queries.

Essential Skills

* Experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator with a focus on data entry and query resolution for oncology trials.

* Oncology certification (OCN) preferred.

* 1-2 years of experience in clinical research coordination.

* Experience with screening, enrolling, and consenting patients into research studies based on study protocols.

* Proficiency in adverse event reporting.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* IATA certification.

* 3-5 years of clinical research experience preferred, but willing to consider a minimum of 2 years.

* Prior supervisory experience and experience onboarding/training new Clinical Research Coordinators.

Work Environment

Work in an NCI Designated Cancer Center with a focus on oncology research. The role requires 1-2 years of clinical research coordinator experience, specifically in oncology.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of bronx, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
