Staff Physical Therapist - Per Diem

Experienced Physical Therapist Needed

Seeking an experienced physical therapist for per diem position who can work independently, performs comprehensive patient evaluation, establish functional goals, and create treatment plan according to the needs of the patient. The candidate may also be required to supervise physical therapy assistants, students, and volunteers.

Qualifications:

• Education Required:
  
  Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• License(s)
  
  Required:
  
  New York State license and current registration.
• Experience/
  
  Skills Required:
  
  At least 2 years experience as a full-time physical therapist. One (1) year acute care experience preferred.

Working Conditions: Direct patient contact; physically very active; frequent standing and considerable moving about; lifting and/or carrying of materials related to treatment procedures; patient transfers; assisting patients with ambulation during gait training.
