You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. • Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active NY State PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
• Experience with restorative programs, transfers, gait training, wheelchair management, and ADL-focused interventions preferred.
• Ability to follow treatment plans established by a supervising Physical Therapist and document per facility policy.
