Patient Care Technician (PCT) – Telemetry

Assignment: 13 Weeks | 37.5 hrs/week | 2 Openings

Shift &

Schedule:

• Night Shift
• 8-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required

Seeking experienced Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to support a fast-paced Telemetry unit focused on cardiac and stroke patients. Candidates should have prior telemetry experience and strong patient care skills in an acute care environment.

• Provide direct patient care and assist with ADLs
• Obtain and document vital signs and blood glucose checks
• Assist nursing staff with patient monitoring and daily unit operations
• Support telemetry patient care and communicate changes appropriately
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety
• Assist with general unit support and patient needs as required

• Cardiac patients
• Stroke-focused patient population
• Acute telemetry care setting

• Minimum 1 year of acute care PCT experience
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS Certification required
• Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A) via NHA required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• 41-bed telemetry unit
• Telemetry monitoring available on unit
• Travelers are first to float
• Holiday rotation may apply
• No call requirements
