Job Title: Elder Justice Specialist (Social Worker)
Compensation
Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000 per year
Location: Bronx, NY – Onsite
Position SummaryAs an Elder Justice Specialist (Social Worker), you will provide trauma-informed counseling, advocacy, and case management services to older adults experiencing or at risk of elder mistreatment. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will help develop individualized plans of care and safety plans while supporting clients through complex healthcare, legal, and social service systems. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable older adults throughout New York City and Westchester County.

Key Duties:
- Provide trauma-informed counseling, advocacy, crisis intervention, and case management services to older adults
- Conduct comprehensive safety assessments and develop individualized safety plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement client-centered plans of care
- Deliver professional trainings on elder mistreatment, elder justice, and trauma-informed care practices
- Assist with grant reporting, program development initiatives, and community outreach activities
Education
- Required: Master’s Degree in Social Work

Licenses & Certifications
- Required: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed and client-centered care practices
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and advocacy skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Experience in geriatrics, elder abuse, healthcare, domestic violence, or related social services preferred
