Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist with expertise in CT imaging to perform diagnostic scans accurately and efficiently during scheduled shifts. The role involves supporting inpatient services and ensuring safety protocols are maintained at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT scanners to produce detailed cross-sectional images of patients’ internal organs and tissues.
• Interpret physicians’ scanning instructions to ensure correct imaging procedures.
• Administer contrast materials and assist with contrast injections as certified.
• Position patients properly and prepare equipment to capture the highest quality images.
• Follow radiation safety procedures to protect yourself and patients from exposure.
• Assist overnight CT technologists with portable x-ray imaging as needed, including inpatient portables.

Qualifications:

• Hold a high school diploma with graduation from an A.M.A.
  
  -accredited radiologic technology program.
• Possess NYS licensure as a radiologic technologist.
• Maintain ARRT certification and advanced certification in MRI.
• Be certified by NYS for contrast injections and capable of operating CT equipment.
• Demonstrate experience with portable x-ray procedures and inpatient imaging.
• Exhibit physical ability to maneuver equipment and assist patients, including those with mobility challenges.
