We are seeking an experienced Supervising Pharmacist / Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead pharmacy operations and oversee the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical services within a community pharmacy setting. The PIC will manage daily pharmacy workflow, supervise pharmacy staff, ensure compliance with New York State and federal pharmacy regulations, and promote high standards of patient care.

This leadership role offers the opportunity to guide pharmacy operations, develop efficient workflows, mentor staff, and support community-focused pharmaceutical services while ensuring safe medication practices and excellent patient service.

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient prescription processing

• Supervise, mentor, and support pharmacy technicians and support staff

• Develop and maintain pharmacy workflows, standard operating procedures, and operational processes

• Ensure compliance with New York State pharmacy laws and federal regulatory requirements

• Maintain accurate documentation and records required by regulatory authorities

• Monitor medication inventory, ordering, and storage to ensure availability and prevent shortages

• Provide patient counseling on medication use, potential side effects, and treatment plans

• Review prescriptions for accuracy, drug interactions, and therapeutic appropriateness

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes

• Support pharmacy services including immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and patient education

• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professionalism, and patient-centered care

• Assist in building strong relationships with the local community and healthcare partners

• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the State of New York

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required (PharmD preferred)

• Prior experience in community or retail pharmacy preferred

• Knowledge of New York State pharmacy laws and federal regulatory requirements

• Immunization certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to manage pharmacy operations and lead teams effectively

• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and medication safety
