Senior Social Worker

Qualifications:

Education and Experience Requirement(s):
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) required;
New York State Licensed Masters in Social Work preferred;
Two (2) years' experience with homeless populations;
Two (2) years' experience with persons with chronic health and/or mental health conditions and/or substance abuse disorders;
Bilingual/Spanish skills a plus Physical Demands Walking and Climbing stairs. Working Conditions General office work environment. Certifications & Licenses Preferred New York State Licensed Certified Social Worker (LMSW - -

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Ability to learn and provide evidence-based treatment practices;
Knowledge of treatment interventions and wellness management practices for persons chronic health conditions, as well as serious mental illness and substance abuse disorders;
Knowledge about administering assessment tools and/or the ability to learn;
Ability to deliver individual, group, and family counseling services;
Ability to efficiently and accurately record services provided, including in AWARDS, CARES, or similar systems.

Compensation:
