Key Responsibilities Advise on customs compliance matters, including valuation, classification, and country of origin determinations for imported goods Review, draft, and negotiate documentation related to import/export compliance and global trade regulations Counsel business teams on regulatory risks and compliance strategies impacting U.S. and cross-border trade operations
Required Qualifications Fluency in both Spanish and English (required) Experience advising on customs valuation, tariff classification, and country of origin rules (required) Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction Demonstrated experience advising businesses on U.S. and international customs compliance matters Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
