Position Summary:

As an Operations Manager for Pyle you will be assisting in daily terminal operations involving P&D, Dock, Line Haul, Office, Recruiting and OS&D Department.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

* Ensuring the management of staff is consistent with Company goals and guidelines

* Developing and maintaining cross-training materials, performance reviews, and ensuring the development of supervisors

* Monitoring terminal operation statistics and encouraging improvement; fostering a spirit of innovative thinking in attaining goals

* Ensuring adequate staffing levels throughout terminal

* Developing, maintaining and improving current processes to ensure security of freight and personnel, while promoting and demonstrating Pyle Culture

To be qualified for this position, you must possess the following:

* Previous LTL Transportation experience

* Previous Management experience

* Ability to work all shifts as required

* Computer skills to include MS Office

* Ability to Lead, Teach, and Mentor staff while enforcing Company Policies

* Effective communication skills
