Community Partner Coordinator

The Community Partner Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with community-based organizations, nonprofits, and government agencies to support client engagement and placement. This role coordinates outreach, site visits, and events to strengthen collaboration, while supporting digital engagement efforts and civic growth opportunities. The Coordinator also helps evaluate partnership effectiveness, contributes to reporting, and assists in planning service-learning and training initiatives.

Strong relationship-building and organizational skills are essential.

• Identify and cultivate partnerships with (new) community-based organizations in a manner that is consistent with Grant Associates values and policies.
• Leverage existing relationships to maximize engagement and results for clients and the corporation.
• Assist in the planning and coordination of networking opportunities for community partner organizations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of online and digital platforms in collaboration with the Strategic Operations team.
• Manage opportunities to attend site visits with community partners to increase communication and understanding of their work.
• Maintain existing partnerships between Grant Associates and local non-profit agencies and government offices via site visits, phone calls, and electronic communication.
• Provide support for community partner organizations, clients, and colleagues in relation to civic engagement and growth opportunities.
• Ensure volunteer/intern position descriptions, engagement, and evaluation processes are completed in a timely manner.
• Participate in and with in-house committees and meetings when requested.
• Support corporation and funder reporting requirements by producing reports adhering to quality assurance standards and maintaining data integrity of client activity.
• Maintain databases of organization contact information and respective engagement opportunity descriptions.
• Assist in the implementation of assessment plan to monitor experiences of volunteer and community partner organizations.
• Evaluate new and ongoing community sites/partnerships as suitable for client placement
• Work with training team to monitor and maintain quantity of service-learning courses and identify potential areas for increase/improvements.
• Support the development of additional training and networking opportunities for Grant Associates, and community partner organizations.
• Attend special events related to service-learning, community engagement, and other community-based learning opportunities for clients and possible staff development, including workshops, panels, site visits, or other programs.

• Bachelors degree or experience commensurate to 3-5 years' experience in nonprofit or community-based programming.
• Demonstrated ability to positively motivate external and internal partners.
• Demonstrated understanding of Funder Program.
• Communicate clearly and effectively in meetings, by phone, email, speaking to groups, and one-on-one.
• Very comfortable with standard office software, Google products (Gmail, Google calendar, Google Docs} and internet research, Agency data management software and Data Storage systems.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and appropriately (through written word and public speaking) with varied stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative in a team-based environment, follow through on independent projects, and balance multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail.
