The organization is seeking a skilled and compassionate Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join its full-time urgent care team in Bronx, NY.
This is a full-time, fast-paced, outpatient-focused role within a collaborative clinical environment. The Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and minor injuries, ensuring timely, high-quality care across all age groups.

Essential Position ResponsibilitiesEvaluate, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with acute illnesses and minor injuries
Perform physical examinations and obtain detailed medical histories
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests including labs, imaging, and point-of-care testing
Perform minor procedures such as wound care, suturing, splinting, and incision and drainage (as trained)
Prescribe medications and develop appropriate treatment plans
Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, follow-up care, and preventive measures
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocols
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN or DNP)Licensure & Certification:
Active or eligible New York State Nurse Practitioner license; national certification required (FNP or AGNP preferred)Experience:
Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or acute care experience preferred; new graduates with relevant clinical training are welcome
