Emergency Room Registered Nurse – Level 3 (Days)

New York, NY

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Must work every other weekend and holidays

• Assess patients' clinical conditions, recognize and interpret serious situations, prioritize care, and take immediate and appropriate action.
• Initiate appropriate emergency measures when a physician is not immediately available.
• Operate and monitor specialized emergency care equipment including infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, ventilators, and cardiac monitors.
• Administer therapeutic measures as prescribed, including medications, IV therapy, respiratory therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
• Document patient observations, nursing interventions, therapeutic measures administered, and coordinated care activities.
• Plan, develop, and implement individualized care delivery plans; may float to ICU or Medical-Surgical units as needed.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (all mandatory prior to start).
• Ventilator experience required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience working in or floating to ICU or Medical-Surgical units.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and respond effectively in high-acuity emergency settings.
