As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a vital role in our interdisciplinary team, ensuring the highest level of care and compassion to our patients.

About the Role:

As a CNA at Mosholu Parkway Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, you will be responsible for:

• Providing direct patient care under the supervision of our experienced nursing staff

• Assisting patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Monitoring vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing staff, and implementing care plans as needed

• Building strong relationships with patients and families, providing emotional support and compassion

Responsibilities:

• Perform vital sign checks, including pulse, BP, respiration rate, and temperature

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Provide basic nursing care, such as changing linens and cleaning wounds

• Assist with mealtime, including feeding and hydration

• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans

Requirements:

• Current CNA certification in the state of New York

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous CNA experience preferred, but not required
