Registered Nurse – CVOR

$2815.20/week –

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Cardiac RN with circulating and scrub experience to assist in major cardiac surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various cardiac surgeries and possess a valid NYS license.

Responsibilities:

• Perform circulating and scrub duties during cardiac surgeries.
• Assist with procedures including CABG EVH, chest closure, thoracoscopy, wedge resection, aortic valves, and mitral valves.
• Ensure adherence to sterile techniques and procedural protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare operating rooms and surgical equipment.
• Monitor patient status and provide perioperative care as needed.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid NYS Registered Nurse license.
• Demonstrate experience in cardiac surgical procedures, both circulating and scrub skills.
• Have proven expertise in CABG EVH, chest closure, thoracoscopy, wedge resection, aortic valves, and mitral valves.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and excellent teamwork skills.
• Maintain current knowledge of surgical safety standards and best practices.
