Registered Nurse - IMC​/PCU​/Stepdown

Registered Nurse

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in IMC/PCU/Stepdown units. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac and transplant patient management and be proficient in Epic charting.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality patient care through accurate assessment and intervention.
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for documentation and order entry.
• Manage complex cases, including heart failure, post-transplant, and arrhythmia management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and respond to patient vital signs and clinical changes promptly.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, protocols, and licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active NY RN license with valid license number.
• Have current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in IMC/PCU/Stepdown or similar units.
• Demonstrate cardiothoracic, transplant, and VAD experience, specifically with Heart Mate 3 devices.
• Have proficiency with EPIC charting system.
• Experience with post-CABG, TAVR, and valve replacement patient care required.
