RN I/DD– Key Responsibilities
Provide person-centered nursing care with small, manageable caseloads
Coordinate medical care, appointments, and follow-up for individuals with I/DD
Oversee medication administration and ensure regulatory compliance
Advocate for people supported within healthcare and clinical settings
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on individualized care plans
Maintain accurate health records and nursing documentation
Support and educate staff on health, safety, and medical best practices
QualificationsNew York State Licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
I/DD, residential, or community-based nursing experience preferred
Commitment to person-first, compassionate care
Valid NYS driver's license
Travel RequiredYes. Yes, 25% of the time
EducationAssociates or better
