Citarrella, The Ultimate Gourmet Market, is seeking Freezer associates to join our team! This role is responsible for a variety of tasks including the overall organization and maintenance of the Freezer department, supporting various departments that allocate their product within the warehouse's freezer.
Role and Responsibilities- Perform general operational tasks including but not limited to: proper receiving, labeling, product rotation, FIFO organization, etc.
- Maintain department appearance, cleanliness, and organization standards in compliance with Citarella Policies and food safety/sanitation handling procedures
- Assist with inventory maintenance
- Always maintain professionalism and treat everyone with respect and courtesy.
- Other reasonably assigned duties as per business needs
- Ability to work both independently as well as with a team
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to perform physical requirements of position including standing for extended periods of time, kneeling, stooping, using stairs, lifting, carrying, push/pull weight
- Ability to work in freezer temperatures and other temperature controlled environments
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast paced environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed, and in the correct uniform
