** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a government healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site leadership and emergency services as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.

+ Monitor access points and visitor flow, assist with way finding, and help maintain orderly movement through public areas while documenting security-related concerns.

+ Complete required reports such as incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation, and report maintenance issues such as broken locks, lighting outages, and/or damaged doors.

* + This position is at a hospital site where vaccines are required.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
