** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures, government facility policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Conduct armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points, including regular and random checks of doors, gates, loading areas, and restricted locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor access control points by verifying identification, managing visitor entry, and directing foot and vehicle traffic in accordance with post orders and client requirements.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting public emergency services as needed and providing clear updates to appropriate personnel.

+ Complete written and/or electronic reports, maintain required logs, and communicate unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns through the established chain of command.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.

+ Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.

+ Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.

+ Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

+ A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
