Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response actions when appropriate;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas, while remaining aware of changing conditions;
Monitor entrances, common areas, and authorized access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations;
Assist staff, visitors, and occupants with directions, general assistance, and de-escalation support during tense or disruptive interactions
