** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at the location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access to the location by observing foot traffic, checking authorized entry points, and/or communicating with staff regarding visitor and resident activity.

+ Document incidents, policy violations, and notable daily activity, and/or communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A New York State Security Guard License is required.

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
